I enjoy engaging in both individual and collaborative research projects. Currently, I am interested in research that focuses on integrating neuroscience into counseling as well as professional competency in counselor education programs. I have served on two research teams, with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. My research interests include neuro-informed mental health counseling, multicultural counseling, innovation in counseling and counselor education, wellness, coping processes, professional competency, and racial disparities in mental health
